Week 20 -- The End For Now

  Friends and Neighbors,

This is our last pickup week for 2016 -- thanks for eating through the season with us!

We consider this past year to be a modest success for our farm, and are looking forward to improving next year, adding products, vegetable variety, and growing our customer base as well.  In the coming days we will be emailing a customer survey to you, and hope you will consider answering the questions and including comments about your experience with us this year to help us improve for the future.  We will also be emailing along information about our farm subscriptions for 2017, and how you can reserve a spot if you are interested in continuing to subscribe.

As a final event for our farm customers in 2016, we will be hosting a bonfire in November before Thanksgiving, and hope you can join us for fun, hiking, and seasonal celebration.  Exact dates are still up in the air (working on finishing our new bathroom!) but we will let you know as soon as we can.

Lots of roasting vegetables this week -- Parsnips are a particular roasting favorite of mine, with a sugary sweet flavor.  Most of these vegetables store well, so you should be able to continue enjoying them for a few weeks if you don't get to them right away.  Cheers!
